How we use your details.

When you submit a viewing, pickup or delivery request, That Couch Guy collects your name, preferred reply method, phone number or email, selected couches, preferred time and any notes you choose to include. Pickup and delivery requests also include the phone number and logistics details you provide. Delivery requests include your address and access information. We use these details to respond, arrange your visit and discuss pickup or delivery.

Requests are stored in our private website inbox. If owner email alerts are connected, Formspree receives the selected couch names, requested time and request link to email our team. Contact details, delivery addresses and access instructions stay in our private website inbox and team calendar. Your details are not displayed publicly or used to sign you up for marketing.

Viewing messages opened in your email or texting app are sent only when you send them there, under that service’s privacy terms. Confirmation links contain the appointment time and selected couches, but not your name, contact details or delivery address. Anyone you share a confirmation link with can see those appointment details. Customer calendar downloads do not update automatically. For approved appointments, our private team calendar also contains your contact information, delivery address and access instructions so our team can fulfil the appointment. Team members can subscribe using their calendar provider; the subscription updates when that provider refreshes it. The site remembers recently viewed couch IDs in your browser session so you can add them to one visit. We also record a limited referral label when supplied, and use a hashed connection identifier to reduce spam. No advertising pixel is currently enabled.
